Portfolio: Example 4

Problem
This space for watching TV and reading was open to the living room (only divided by a low wall) the room needed defining as a separate more private space.

Solution
Moving the beautiful oriental screen to the master bedroom to be used as a headboard  and bringing in a larger carved screen created a more private, intimate room. New placement of this screen provided a clean backdrop from the living room and a pseudo wall for the loveseat. The previously blocked entry now flowed freely making the area appear more spacious. The TV unit was moved to a larger wall where it would not be as visible from the living room. After a few more exchanges of tables and accessorizing the room was transformed.
